Lisbon Fashion was going to be presented for the fifth time in a row at the same pavilion, in Lisbon 's harbour, this time under the title “FAST-FORWARD”.
The organization team's initial target had been to move to another space. But as this change wasn't possible, and with this target in mind, the project completely transformed the lay-out defined in previous shows. The way in became the way out, the way out became the way in, the catwalk was converted into a social, VIP and LAB, area. Disorientate and orientate.
A map printed on the ground allowed the visitor to position himself in space. Lines of different colours defined a circuit inside the pavilion, indicating different activities and directions in different languages. Exclusive spaces and inclusive spaces: VIP, MUSH-ROOM, TOILET, LAB, EXPO, PARADISO, GERAL, NOWHERE.
Just as the road paint used to mark the activities circuit inside the pavilion, all the other construction materials evoke in the visitor the universe of movement and acceleration of roads: cars with their high beams illuminate spaces. Inner tubes transformed into poufs and road marking tape was used to differentiate public areas, and lounge spaces.
