In spite of the multiplicity of situations, the intervention area appears as one entity establishing a clear continuity along the 2.5 km of coastline, and becomes a perceivably intense experience when one covers its whole extension on foot. The proposal focused primarily on the fruition and contemplation possibilities of the landscape, centred fundamentally on two main matters:
Firstly, there was a need to solve the road and pedestrian accessibilities. Regarding the road accessibilities, it was essential to systematize the parking areas, as well as to regulate and close off the road accesses to the spaces directly surrounding the beach, which should clearly be dedicated to pedestrian usage.
The other main matter was to understand how this exceptional territory could be used as a leisure area, and be protected at the same time, taking into consideration its precarious ecological balance and the natural and artificial erosion that it is exposed to.
The proposed net/structure takes this strategy into practice, granting the vast area of intervention a unique identity.
